Jacob was just a young teen when I first met him, and getting to see him grow into such a kind, grounded young man has been the best full-circle moment. It’s one of those reminders of why I love this work so much: watching stories unfold through the years, frame by frame.
We met at Summit Park in Evendale, and wow… what a gem. I can’t believe I’ve never shot there before! The light, the open space, the energy—it all came together perfectly for Jacob’s session.
The whole session felt easy—fun, relaxed, and totally him. We spent the afternoon laughing, chasing good light, and celebrating his newest passion: cycling. Watching him light up when he talked about it made every photo that much more genuine.
That’s my favorite thing about senior sessions. They’re not just portraits; they’re little time capsules of who they are right now—what they love, how they move, the spark in their eyes when they talk about the things that matter most.
