From the moment that Nick's mother contacted me about senior photos until the moment right before we met on the field, my nerves were a little jolted. Not only did I have limited experience with photographing high school seniors, but it was an unknown task of photographing a high school senior guy on his turf: the football field. Don't get me wrong, I love photographing seniors. In fact, they are much less work compared to toddlers that I typically have to chase around and whip out my tickle hands for. But with...

"Heaver!" That was the first word that I heard from the sweet little voice of this little girl who seemed eager for picture day ("seemed" being the key word). Bouncing around and continually calling my name, "Heaver", we found the perfect spot in the park to nestle down and get some great family shots, except there was no nestling involved the entire session. Either way, these two were obviously made for each other. While I don't believe in "true love" or "fate" or any other fairy tale magic, I do believe in the bond that is formed when...

Last week I shared on the blog all of my excitement about the upcoming Cincinnati Baby & Beyond Expo. After putting the countless hours, blood, sweat, and yes, even tears (sad and happy), the day finally came to put all of my hard work together and display Two Blooms for all to see! I am so proud with how my vision came to fruition & it ended up being better than I had imagined! (you can see the work in progress photos here). It was like my own little corner of photography bliss...
