From the moment that Nick’s mother contacted me about senior photos until the moment right before we met on the field, my nerves were a little jolted.
Not only did I have limited experience with photographing high school seniors, but it was an unknown task of photographing a high school senior guy on his turf: the football field.
Don’t get me wrong, I love photographing seniors. In fact, they are much less work compared to toddlers that I typically have to chase around and whip out my tickle hands for. But with the ease of being more directable, teenage minds are often more complex to me than any other age group – especially senior boy athletes.
Despite my nervous disposition and fear of the unknown, I happily waltzed onto the field to be greeted by not only the star himself, but his entire supporting family.
I knew right then and there that this would be an awesome session. And it was.
With the sun shining bright and the whole family making fun cheering him on, Nick made some magic in front of my camera and I can say, without a doubt, that they are some of my very favorites to date!
