I have been looking forward to this 1 year photo session for awhile.
I first met this sweet family at my holiday mini session event last year. They were referred by another amazing client of mine, so it was such a joy and an honor to also take these special photos of their growing baby boy.
You see, I absolutely ADORE watching babies grow up. And when a family commits to choosing me at their family photographer, it’s an even bigger joy.
I get to be a part of these special moments – and as a Mother of 4 kids myself, it’s something that I don’t take lightly.
Life is precious. It’s fleeting. It’s messy. And it’s fun.
During this photo session, I got to witness all of that.
From the unknown forecast that we meticulously watched all afternoon. Onto the joyous moments of watching a baby delight in life’s simple pleasures. Then witnessing the messy moments of cake being squished between tiny fingers and then shoved off into the grass.
We experienced it all. And these moments are the moments that matter the most.
