The Cincinnati tween photography experience

Take yourself back to middle school.

That in-between season where everything feels like it’s changing all at once.
You’re not a little kid anymore… but you’re not quite a teenager either.

Your confidence feels fragile.
Friendships suddenly mean everything.
And the world starts getting louder about who you should be.

Do you remember what that felt like?

Now imagine being a tween today.

As a mom, this is something I think about often. Because the reality is… it’s not the same anymore.

Kids today aren’t just navigating growing upthey’re navigating a digital world that never turns off.

A world filled with comparison.
A world where cyberbullying can follow them home.
A world where they can be watched, judged, and influenced before they even fully understand who they are.

They’re facing things we never had to at that age.
And they’re facing them early.

Too early.

There’s an entire generation of kids being pulled in a thousand different directions, trying to figure out who they’re supposed to be… based on what they see online.

And it breaks my heart.

Because they shouldn’t have to search the internet to figure out their worth.

What if we could give them something stronger?

What if, right in the middle of all that noise, your child was reminded of something unshakable…

Who they truly are.

Not what the world says.
Not what social media suggests.
But the truth.

Introducing: The “This Is Me” Photo Project

This isn’t just a photo session.

It’s something I created from a very personal place — as a photographer, but even more so, as a mom who wants better for this next generation.

This experience is designed to help tweens (ages 10–12) feel confident, grounded, and deeply known before they step into the harder teenage years.

Because confidence isn’t built overnight.
It’s planted, spoken, and nurtured over time.

More Than Photos. This Is Identity, Captured

Before your child ever steps in front of the camera, something powerful happens behind the scenes.

We gather words.

From you.
From the people who love them most.
From the ones who see their kindness, their strengths, their uniqueness.

Parents. Friends. Teachers. Coaches.

Real words. Real truth. Spoken over your child.

Then we create an experience where they are celebrated — not for how they look, but for who they are.

We capture their personality. Their light. Their story.

No pressure. No pretending. Just them.

The Result

A custom photo book filled with:

• Genuine, personality-filled images
• Meaningful words and affirmations from loved ones
• A lasting reminder of their identity and worth

Something they can return to again and again.

On the hard days.
On the unsure days.
On the days when the world feels too loud.

A reminder that says:
You are loved. You are seen. You are enough.

Why This Matters More Than Ever

Because if we don’t intentionally build confidence in our kids…

the world will try to define it for them.

And right now, that world is louder than ever.

This project is my way of pushing back.

Of giving tweens something real to hold onto.
Something rooted in truth, not trends.

So they don’t feel the need to turn to a screen to figure out who they are.

So they already know.

Apply for a Complimentary Session

I’m opening a very limited number of complimentary sessions for tweens ages 10–12 this spring.

This is for families who:
• Care deeply about their child’s confidence and identity
• Want to be part of something meaningful and lasting
• Are willing to speak life and truth into their child

Spots are limited, and I’ll be selecting participants based on fit for the project.

If this is speaking to your heart, I would love for you to apply.

An Honest Note About the Experience

I want to be fully transparent about what this experience includes, because it’s designed to be something truly meaningful from beginning to end.

The session itself is complimentary, and you’ll also receive a $50 print credit to use toward your images.

However, the custom albums and artwork are not included, and they are a big part of what makes this experience so special — creating something tangible your child can hold onto for years to come.

Most families choose to invest in an album, with options starting at $250.

There is absolutely no requirement to purchase, and no one will ever be turned away based on that.

But I do ask this:
Please only apply if you feel excited about the full experience — including the possibility of investing in your child’s final images and album.

Because this isn’t just about a session.
It’s about creating something lasting. Something your child can come back to — again and again — as a reminder of who they are.

This is more than a photo session.

It’s a moment where your child gets to see themselves the way they were always meant to be seen.

And that kind of reminder?

It stays with them.
