If there’s one thing you should know about me as a photographer, it’s this: I choose my locations VERY intentionally.
Being a more laid-back, quiet photographer, I don’t really care for busy, public places with lots of people (cough, Ault Park, cough). It can throw me off and hinder me from really focusing on my task at hand – which is getting amazing photos of my clients.
So when I choose downtown Lebanon, it’s because I am familiar with the good spots that make great locations for photos. That’s all well and good until said location is flooded with crowds because of a weekend festival.
[Insert introvert photographer nightmare]
But, despite the loud music, heavy traffic, and utter craziness of it all, we pushed on and this family knocked it out of the park. I mean, aren’t they the cutest ever?!
Moral of the story: being adaptable is sometimes crucial, and pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones will keep us learning & growing.
And if you were wondering…I spent the rest of the weekend at home. Away from large crowds and loud places.
